The Federal Government has disclosed when the ongoing strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, would be called off. Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu assured that the ongoing industrial action would be called off before Monday. He made the disclosure while addressing newsmen in Abuja on Saturday. Adamu assured that students will soon return to school because almost all the issues under contention have been cleared off the table. The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has responded to criticisms of running away during the 2017 military invasion of his home in Afara Ibeku, Umuahia, Abia State by the Nigerian army and the allegation of abandoning his followers in the country.
