5 Great Specs To Consider When You're Choosing Your Next Phone

Image
What do you look for first when picking out a new smartphone? Android or iOS? The processor chip inside? The size and resolution of the screen? How many cameras? You probably have your spec of choice, but don’t sleep on these less-considered differentiators. 1. Internal modem and antennas Every phone can make and receive calls of course, and manage the flow of data to and from your device, but they don’t all do it equally well. The modem inside your smartphone is responsible for all this wireless traffic, and it’s one of the specs that’s worth looking out for, especially as we start moving to 5G. The choice of modem dictates the maximum upload and download speeds you can expect on and off wifi, and which networks you can connect to while out of the country, and even whether or not a phone is able to include dual-SIM support or not. Better modems can work well on less power, meaning more battery life. Also look for the number of antennas included: a 4x4 MIMO (multiple input, multiple ou

Understanding The Last Sermon Of Prophet Muhammad (SAW)

Image
In the name of God, The Beneficent, The Merciful. May the peace and blessings of God be upon the noble Prophet, Muhammad, and upon his household and companions in general. As for what follows; The purpose of this write-up is to interpret the text of the Last sermon (Also called Farewell Address) of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and to also address the issues that has been mentioned by the Prophet and regarded highly by all Muslims. In his address, the Prophet addressed several issues: Freedom to all Sanctity of life, wealth and property Equality of all races Justice in front of the law and in front of God Women’s rights and obligations Exploitation and Monopoly Rights of others. After about 14 centuries from delivering the Last Sermon of the Prophet, are the issues at the statement of the problem still relevant to human society in the modern times? Or, were they just related to the Prophet’s time and place only? Without doubt, the message of the Prophet was not intended for his

Adenike, Ibadan Polytechnic Student Whose Legs Were Cut Off (photos)

Image
What a touching story! We came across this story of Adenike, an amputee student of Ibadan Polytechnic as shared by Twitter user, Awa Ti Ibadan. Read her story: " As a toddler, Adenike's legs began to rot away. At age 5, her two legs were amputated in order to save her life. My friend @ayaworanho3d did a documentary on Adenike's story. It was nominated for the best documentary at the AMVCA 2018. Despite her state & paucity of funds, she chose to go to school, believing her condition will not stop her from having an education. Today she's a student of the Polytechnic of Ibadan. Adenike is a cheerful girl, always smiling & full of life despite everything. The current prosthetics which she uses no longer functions. She has outgrown the prosthetics, making it difficult for her to move around without human support. If you know any organization that supports amputees or foundations that can help provide funds (or prosthetics) PLEASE Help mention them on this tweet. If

He derives joy in building big churches and gathering Bishops and white people who go to Elele to sing praises to the name of Fr. Edeh. After singing his praises, he pays them in millions. Those Bishops who are guilty of this fact, cannot deny it.  If Fr. Edeh is your friend and you are a Bishop for God and for humanity, tell your friend the truth.  In most cases he deceives the white people and make

You’re essentially walking out of the most “comfortable” position you’ve ever been in financially and from pretty much everything you’ve considered “normal” about making a living over the past few years. You’ve made friends at work, learned a lot, and have been challenged beyond belief. At the same time, leaving safety also represents that freedom you’ve been yearning after for years. Many people think that leaving your cushy day job is asking for trouble. And they are right to a degree – by choosing to leave your job, you’re up against one of the more difficult things you can do in life…both mentally and emotionally, as well as financially….and you’re doing it voluntarily – you badass And if you are the said badass, you hav
