Times Ranks Covenant University As Nigeria's Top Engineering Study Destination

The British, Times higher education ranking Organization which accesses Universities on 13 carefully selected and calibrated indicators under 5 pillars; Teaching(30%), Research(30%), Citation(30%), Industry Income(2.5%), Internationalisation(7.5%) has today ranked Covenant university as the first Nigerian university to ever feature in the top 1000 engineering and technology ranking.

No Nigerian University in Computer science ranking: it is worthy of note that none of Nigeria's three universities which qualify for assessment and data collection(CU, UI, UNN) under Times could make it to the top 800 rankings for Computer science.

Times Higher Education is the leading consultant to MIT, Stanford and other World Class Institutions.

Obasanjo Lies In The Morning, Afternoon, Night, Says Oshiomhole

Adams Oshiomhole, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), says former President Olusegun Obasanjo "lies in the morning, afternoon and night". He stated this on Saturday afternoon at the APC presidential campaign rally held in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital. Oshiomhole berated Obasanjo for equating himself to Nigeria. In the early hours of yesterday, a woman identified as Miriam Shehu on twitter, called out singer Banky W for allegedly receiving N57million from President Muhammadu Buhari. She said the payment was reportedly meant for a campaign for President Buhari and was received by the singer, whom she claimed didn’t execute the project. Banky W in his series of reactions said it is a false allegation and has threatened to sue the woman. He tweeted: “Someone can tweet “Banky W has collected 57 million contract to do PR for Buhari” and get hundreds of retweets/believers in a few mins, without anyone actually bothering to ask for proof.
